Today, Malika is general Secretary
Malika BOURAM 43 years old single woman lives in a small village called Aglou, located in the region of Tiznit, with her father and her mother in law.
In her final year of school she decides to stop her studies to start her professional life.
she worked actively among 90 other women, in an association selling 3 products that are: Argan oil, a Moroccan cake called "Sellou", and Couscous.
3 years ago, she had the idea of extending the range of these aforesaid products and creating her own business. In November, 2007, Malika attended a six mounth training course to learn how to make some local products, moreover, the marketing and packaging techniques.
After that, in October, 2009 Malika decides to go into partnership with Mr. larbi her trainer and they obtain a credit of 20 000 dh from our agency Tiznit Sud
Thanks to this credit, and to the contribution of her partner, they transformed the association into cooperative. Malika is general Secretary of this new structure, that employs more than 40 persons, exclusively women.
Now, this cooperative sells more than 15 food and cosmetic products: argan oil, Linen beads, oil and seeds of nigelle, flours, sellou cake, pure honey, corn, couscous, soap, etc.
In order to increase its sales, the cooperative participate in fairs and exhibitions, Furthermore to the sales made in tiznit to meet the orders of its clients wherever they are.
" The products of the Agricultural cooperative Sidi Wagag exceed even the borders " Malika said. Indeed, a Belgian retailer exports these natural products very appreciated in Europe. This ambitious woman, becomes then a success story for all the women of her region.
